Ten years after finishing on the Ballon d’Or podium, Franck Ribéry began his coaching career in complete discretion in the Salernitana staff. He even plays intermediary to bring in Jérôme Boateng.
Teammates for eight years at Bayern, Jérôme Boateng (35 years old) and Franck Ribéry (40 years old) will soon meet again at Salernitana. As indicated Sky Sportsthe German defender, free since his departure from OL last summer, is in contact with the leaders of the current red lantern in Serie A (six points behind the first non-relegation).
Salernitana can count on Ribéry to sort things out with the 2014 world champion. The former French international is in fact part of Filippo Inzaghi’s technical staff in this Campania club (south-east of Naples).
Ribéry finished his career in 2022 at Salernitana and directly began his training as a coach. He thus remained linked with the Italian club, collaborating with successive coaches, obtaining his UEFA B license last October. The 3rd in the 2013 Ballon d’Or will soon become a qualified coach looking for his first experience.
