At the heart of the controversy after the revelations by several media of certain elements of the legal proceedings in which he is involved, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi decided to counterattack. His lawyers, Maîtres Renaud Semerdjian and Francis Szpiner, have in fact published a press release in which they announce that they will take the matter to French justice.
“For several weeks, we have noticed numerous publications in different media containing a partial selection of elements and documents from current information. Recalling the status of civil party in this procedure of Mr. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, victim in particular of attacks on the dignity of his person and his reputation, we deplore the violations, orchestrated, oriented, fragmented and truncated, of professional secrecy, of secrecy of the investigation and the secrecy of the instruction, whose sole objective is to distort the reality of the facts and to put pressure on justice and public opinion. We have therefore lodged complaints with the Paris Prosecutor’s Office today regarding these violations.they indicated, in a press release sent to RMC Sport.
