Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has made his stance clear at Newcastle as PSG’s interest in him intensifies.

FC Barcelona and PSG are currently competing for the services of former Lyon player Bruno Guimarães.

Guimaraes wants to leave this winter

The Blaugrana are very interested in the Brazilian but they cannot act before next summer because of their financial concerns, according to Sport. But Guimarães has no intention of waiting, as he wants to leave Newcastle as early as this month.

The midfielder is disappointed with the investments made by the club this season and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly pushing for a deal. PSG coach Luis Enrique wants to integrate the Auriverde international into his team as quickly as possible.

Last October, Guimaraes chose to extend his contract until 2028. According to several consistent sources, he now has a buyout clause of 100 million euros.
