Several football clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, FC Barcelona, and Inter Milan, have approached Paris Saint-Germain to buy Kylian Mbappé, who is in conflict with the club, the direction of Sports at Radio France learned from the club’s entourage on Monday, July 24, 2024. Additionally, several Saudi teams have also shown interest. Al-Hilal has been authorized to “discuss” with Mbappé’s camp and is offering a “record” fee, although the exact amount is not specified. According to AFP, the discussion could take place based on a transfer fee of 300 million euros.
However, any transfer would require Mbappé’s agreement, as the player has never expressed interest in the Saudi Arabian league, unlike his past interest in Real Madrid. Mbappé is currently linked with PSG until June 2024, but he has refused to extend his contract beyond that date. The club wants him to extend his contract or be sold this summer to avoid losing him for free next year. PSG will have to wait until July 31 to start negotiations with clubs, once the option for an additional year of contract cannot be activated by the player.
