The Indomitable Lions began their African Cup of Nations with a draw against Guinea on Monday.
The national Syli struck first in this part, through Le Havre striker Mohamed Bayo (10e), but the Guineans made their task more complicated with the expulsion of their captain François Kamano (45e+3).
With numerical superiority in the second half, the Cameroonians ended up getting back on track, thanks to Toulouse’s Frank Magri (51e).
They were nonetheless held in check at the final whistle, ahead of Senegal who earlier in the day outclassed Gambia (3-0).
