However, it was the Veronese who, sharper, opened the scoring very early thanks to captain Milan Djuric (1-1, 3rd). Returning from the locker room, Cyril Ngonge doubled the lead for the locals (1-1, 56th). A second goal synonymous with victory, despite Szymon Zurkowski reducing the gap (2-1, 64th).
