Left free last summer by PSG, Sarah Bouhaddi, 37, has not yet hung up her boots. The former goalkeeper of the France team (149 caps from 2004 to 2020) should join Arsenal. The leaders of the London club are looking to sign her until the end of the season.
Champion of France 12 times and winner of the Champions League eight times with OL, Bouhaddi had only one experience abroad during a loan to Seattle Reign FC (now OL Reign) in 2021. In England, she would thus play alongside English internationals Beth Mead and Alessia Russo.
The Gunners, currently 3rd in the Women’s Super League behind Chelsea and Man City, are looking for an understudy at the goalkeeper position due to the departure of their Canadian player Sabrina D’Angelo to the Gold Cup in February.
