After three consecutive matches without success in the league, Naples won on Saturday by overthrowing Salernitana (2-1, 20th day). Torino conceded a draw against Genoa (0-0).
A defeat on the pitch of AS Rome (2-0), a draw at home against Monza (0-0) and a slap received on the pitch of Torino (3-0), Napoli’s last three outings in the Serie A were particularly worrying, especially since Walter Mazzarri’s men had not scored a single goal during these three matches.
