Manchester City is currently traveling to Newcastle (kick-off at 6:30 p.m.) for the 21st day of the Premier League. An important meeting for the two teams, the Skyblues wanting to temporarily move up the championship ranking ahead of Aston Villa, runner-up to leader Liverpool, and the Magpies, at the bottom of the first part of the table, hoping to get back into the race for Europe.
The visitors opened the scoring in the first half hour of play through Bernardo Silva. Served on a good cross from Kyle Walker from the right, the 29-year-old Portuguese attacking midfielder performed a Madjer, a gesture named in tribute to former Algerian international Rabah Madjer, to crucify Martin Dubravka. A superb performance which was not enough, since the Toons overthrew their opponent in two minutes (35th, 37th).
