Author of a brilliant performance against Osasuna on Thursday, Joao Félix convinced the leaders to bet on him for the future.
FC Barcelona vice-president Rafael Yuste has insisted that Joao Felix is still part of the club’s plans. And there is talk of recruiting him permanently at the end of the current season.

Currently, the Portuguese is only on loan to the Blaugrana. Due to the difficulties he has encountered in recent weeks, there was doubt whether the Catalans were willing to have him back for good. A doubt which was resolved Thursday evening.
After the victory against Osasuna in the Super Cup, in which Joao Felix was decisive by scoring a goal, Yuste told Movistar: “I have been with Joao these last few days and I see a boy who is happy and doing very well in the group. Xavi knows what he is doing. Managing a group like Barça is very complicated. He has to handle a lot of things, with enough strength to give opportunities to all the big players he has on the team. But I am sure that Joao Félix will succeed in Barcelona.”
A speech which does not differ too much from that given by Xavi the day before about his Lusitanian star. “He will be important, but like everyone else. He is ready to be a Barcelona footballer, like the others.”
