Benjamin Pavard could also have participated in the offensive celebration, but his on-target header was diverted very nicely by Alessandro Sorrentino (66th). Whatever the case, this success allows the Serie A leader to temporarily increase its lead over Juventus, which it now leads by five points. Monza remains eleventh.
