Lionel Messi had a promising debut at Inter Miami at the end of 2023.

The Florida-based team simply wouldn’t have time, as they would be in full preparation for the 2024 Leagues Cup. In any case, it is also stated that Messi would not even take part in the match if they had place, because he would have just finished his participation in the Copa América. FC Barcelona will therefore have to wait longer before finding Messi, which is not ideal for the club’s leaders.
