Loaned by Chelsea to replace Thibault Courtois, injured for many months, Kepa Arrizabalaga (29 years old) lost his starting place in the last few weeks in favor of Andriy Lunin (24 years old). Against Atlético, in the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup, the Spanish goalkeeper was not reassured either, conceding three goals. Because of this situation, Kepa fears not being able to extend his Madrid adventure when his loan expires at the end of the season according to the Sun. A very big disappointment for him.

Not long after his arrival in Madrid, he publicly announced that he wanted to leave his club Chelsea. The most expensive goalkeeper in the world, bought for 80 million euros by Chelsea in 2018, has vowed to fight for his place, again according to the English media. In La Liga, Kepa has only started once in the last five games he was on the scoresheet.
