In search of a defender, Arsenal had targeted Jorrel Hato (17), young Ajax player. The Dutchman is having a successful season since he played all of Ajax’s matches in full (25/25), and can aim bigger during this transfer window. Currently 4th in the Premier League, the Gunners wanted to position themselves on the international hopeful according to the Sun. However, with post-Brexit immigration rules, the London club does not have the right to buy an underage player.
The one who can also play central defender and left back will therefore have to wait until this summer if he wants to join an English team. Other foreign clubs, Spanish and German in particular, are also interested in the player’s arrival in January. After the failure of Ivan Toney, Arsenal leaders will have to redouble their efforts if they want to improve their squad in January.
