Olympique Lyonnais completed the recruitment of its third winter reinforcement this Wednesday.

After those of Aldyerson and Lucas Perri, OL have just finalized a third arrival during this winter transfer window. The Rhone club has secured the services of the young Belgian prodigy, Malick Fofana.

Lyon ahead of English and German clubs

Aged 18, this little 1.69m winger arrives from La Gatoise. He commits for a period of four years. The amount of transfer compensation amounts to 17 million, excluding bonuses. A real bet for the future.

Lyon pulled off a nice move, because other clubs, from more prestigious championships, also coveted this element. David Friio, the recruitment manager, was able to find the right words to convince the Belgian hopeful to ignore his requests and commit to the 15e of Ligue 1.

OL have therefore been very active since the start of the new calendar year, and their transfer window may not yet be over. Les Gones still hope to attract experienced players, such as Nemanja Matic (Roma) and Said Benrahma (West Ham).
