Former Real Madrid defender Marcelo has spoken highly of Jude Bellingham.
Former Real Madrid captain Marcelo is in Riyadh to watch his former teammates in action during the Spanish Super Cup. On the sidelines of this event, the Brazilian took the time to evaluate the current Merengue team.
“Bellingham’s debut is second to none”
Marcelo told Real Madrid TV: “I see the team very well. Great work is still being done in Madrid. She is now playing in the Spanish Super Cup and I wish her good luck. I hope they win it.”
“I have just spoken with the players and I see them very well and motivated for this tournament,” said the former Auriverde international.
The current member of Fluminense continued by indicating that he was a great admirer of Jude Bellingham. “He (Jude Bellingham) is my son Liam’s idol and he wanted to take a photo with him. I see it very well. He got off to a very good start. We know that at Real Madrid we always have to improve, but his debut is extraordinary, almost unbeatable.”
