Bruno Guimarães at PSG, things are seriously complicated

Unless there is an unlikely turnaround, the Brazilian international from Newcastle will not join the ranks of PSG in the next three weeks.

During this month of January, Paris Saint-Germain would like to strengthen the defensive midfielder position. The track leading to Bruno Guimarães has been mentioned by several media, especially since the aborted transfer of Gabriel Moscardo.

In this sector of play, the Auriverde international playing in Newcastle would be Luis Enrique’s priority. Except that his release clause amounts to 116 million euros. According to the Brazilian media TNT Sports, the leaders of the capital club have reportedly given up on securing the services of the former Olympique Lyonnais player during this winter transfer window. The constraints linked to financial fair play would have clearly cooled them down.

Bruno Guimarães will therefore probably end the season with the Magpies. During next summer, the French champion club will perhaps return to the charge in this matter…
