Aubameyang and Lacazette reunited

Very good friends, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are nominated for the December Player of the Month trophy along with Kylian Mbappé.

Already crowned in October and November, Kylian Mbappé can claim a hat-trick in the UNFP Player of the Month Trophy by winning the distinction for the month of December. The PSG star striker finished the year 2023 with four goals scored in December, to reach 18 goals in the league at the break!

The captain of the France team is named alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette. The two friends (who played together at Arsenal from 2018 to 2022) have found color again. The Gabonese international caught fire at the start of the month, scoring four goals in three matches (after a hat-trick against Ajax in the Europa League). Enough to revive it after a cataclysmic start to the season at the forefront of the Phocaeans’ attack.

The OL captain scored a hat-trick against Toulouse on December 10 and scored a seventh goal before the break against FC Nantes. “Laca”, after finishing with 27 goals during the previous year in L1, failed to stand out during the catastrophic first part of the Gones season.
