Back in women’s D1, Amandine Henry played her first match with Losc on Tuesday evening, but it was against PSG and the Mastiffs took a huge beating (6-0).

Quite a twist of fate for Amandine Henry… The star midfielder of the French women’s team had opted for Losc at the expense of PSG in order to play the first two months of 2024 in D1 Arkéma, on loan, before start the new season with his Los Angeles club. The 34-year-old player is making a symbolic return to her hometown.

But Henry made his debut with the Lille club against the Parisiennes in a huge rout, with a 6-0 defeat away to Yvelines. The former Lyonnaise missed the opportunity to save honor by finding the post (52nd). The Dogues are penultimate in D1 Arkméa with only one victory in 12 matches, but above all suffered their heaviest defeat, after taking 5-0 against OL a month ago.

The Rouge et Bleu needed 25 minutes to score their very first goal on the pitch at the PSG Campus in Poissy, thanks to Marie-Antoinette Katoto (26th), before taking off thanks to a double from Sandy Baltimore (37th and 57th) and the achievements of Malawian Tabitha Chawinga (57th), Grace Geyoro (60th) and Lieke Martens (86th). The Parisiennes are eight points behind the Rhone leader, who begins their year against the PFC on Wednesday.
