The president of PSG Al-Khelaïfi is furious at the refusal of Paris town hall to cede the Parc des Princes to him unless an XXL offer is made. And wonder if it’s not racism…

On this issue, PSG does not have the help of a deputy from the presidential majority to convince the Minister of Action and Public Accounts… The club owned by Qatar fails to buy the Parc des Princes in order to renovate it, the Paris town hall having refused an offer of 40 million euros in 2022. The first deputy mayor of Paris had not ruled out a sale, but not at this price (“you really think the Park is worth less than Leandro Paredes?”).

President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, dissatisfied, made scathing remarks when discussing recent statements by the deputy mayor in charge of the transformation of public space and mobility, David Belliard, who refuses that Paris sell the Princes Park in Qatar. “For what ? Because we are Qatar, because we are Arabs? No, that’s not good”, asked the Qatari leader during his interview on RMC on Tuesday.

The American fund demands it!

I’m not the lawyer and I don’t know exactly what he said but it’s serious, really. It hurt me a lot. Not for me because I don’t really know who this deputy is. After this defamatory accusation, Al-Khelaïfi explained that the American fund (Arctos Partners) which acquired 12.5% ​​of the capital of PSG (for approximately 530 million euros) requested that PSG own its stadium, in order to generate more income. If the Park is the “best stadium in the world”, the president is considering the construction of his own enclosure, even if “it’s the wrong choice, the worst choice”. The purchase of the Stade de France is now ruled out.
