Paris Saint-Germain will continue to provide news on the transfer market.

Committed on all fronts, Paris Saint-Germain approached this second part of the season with teeth scratching the floor. The capital club intends to satisfy its ambitions by making a splash on the national scene, but also by defying predictions in the Champions League, with an affordable draw in the round of 16 with a double confrontation against Real Sociedad.

The PSG roadmap has already been written. But Luis Enrique will have to overcome several obstacles to stick with it, starting with a well-stocked infirmary. Already deprived of Presnel Kimpembe and Nuno Mendes since the start of the season, the Spanish technician saw his defensive sector further decimated with the serious injury of Milan Skriniar. A tile that the arrival of the young and promising Lucas Beraldo is not enough to fill immediately.

New turnaround for the PSG transfer window!

These latest hazards would have modified Paris Saint-Germain’s plans for this winter window. According to information from RMC Sport, Luis Enrique, his technical staff and football director Luis Campos have agreed on a new priority: attracting a player capable of providing rapid added value in defense. The trails should multiply in the days to come. However, Paris would also continue to scan the market to recruit a high-caliber midfielder. The name of former Lyonnais Bruno Guimaraes, now at Newcastle, ticks a lot of boxes.
