There is confusion around the Gabriel Moscardo file. Young midfielder aged 18, the Brazilian from Corinthians is announced to Paris Saint-Germain. After recruiting São Paulo defender Lucas Beraldo, the capital club is supposed to get their hands on this other promise from the Auriverde country in exchange for €20 million, bonus included. The new president of Timo, Augusto Melo, has also confirmed this publicly, with regret.

“From the start, we were against the sale. It is a reality and in certain meetings I have mentioned it. I was not in favor of this sale. Players trained here will forever be another income. It’s first a shirt, but we make lace out of it. We want to keep them, let them earn their place then give us titles and increase in value. It sells for an incredible price. He will join PSG in July. »

PSG is cautious

But since then, the announcement of the player’s problems with his left foot has changed the situation somewhat. The Rouge et Bleu still want to enlist the Brazilian nugget, but no official announcement has been made. A radio silence which calls out, even if PSG’s desire to enlist another midfielder this winter (Kalvin Phillips, Bruno GuimarĂŁes?) is proof that the Moscardo quack has disrupted its plans. Unavailable for three months, Moscardo must now be patient. Unless… Indeed, Goal Brazil tells us that Paris has chosen to take all precautions in this matter.

The media claims that the French champions had planned to announce Moscardo’s arrival last Thursday, despite his concerns. However, the Parisian management warned the Corinthians that they had ultimately chosen to wait. The reason is quite simple: the Rouge et Bleu are waiting for future medical examinations of Moscardo’s left foot (probably after his operation) before confirming the transfer… or canceling it. For their part, the Paulist leaders do not want to enter into conflict with Paris, but they still hope to conclude this sale, just to have a nice cash flow for their transfer window. To be continued.
