The draw for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France was not kind to OM who will face Stade Rennais. For its part, PSG will be entitled to an away duel, against US Orléans (N1).

As is often the case during draws, the fate of each person is not the same. This was confirmed again on Monday evening, during the draw for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France. Among Ligue 1 clubs, the worst operation is probably for Olympique de Marseille who will travel to the Stade Rennais field. For its part, Paris Saint-Germain is doing well and will delight the players from US Orléans (National 1) who will receive it.

Another duel which promises to be interesting, the match between Sochaux (N1) and Stade de Reims. Fallers of Lorient in the previous round (2-1), the Cubs will surely be keen to put the cover back against the Rémois, even if the task promises to be complicated. Title holders, Toulouse will play away against FC Rouen 1899 (N1), while Stade Brestois will be hosted by Trélissac Antone PFC (N2). Another National 2 club, Entente Feignies Aulnoye FC will host Montpellier.

Complicated for Bordeaux, revenge for Monaco?

Nantes will host a team from Laval which is shining this season in Ligue 2. Dunkerque (L2) will face Le Puy F43 (N2) and Lille will travel to the field of Racing Club de France (N2). For Clermont, it will be a shock against another Ligue 1 resident, Strasbourg. There will also be an opposition between Ligue 2 clubs: Valenciennes-Paris FC. The players of Olympique Lyonnais will play against Bergerac Périgord FC (N2) and Monaco will seek to take their revenge against Rodez (L2) who took them out last year.

For Châteauroux, currently in National 1, it will not be an easy reception to manage against Le Havre (L1). As for AS Saint-Priest (N3), Tom Thumb in these round of 32 matches, they will host SO Romorantin (N2). For its part, Bordeaux was unlucky as it will host OGC Nice, currently second in Ligue 1. All the matches will take place during the weekend of January 20 and 21.
