Reassuring news for a French international

Absent in the FA Cup this Saturday with Chelsea, Christopher Nkunku was injured in the hip and could quickly return.

Knee surgery in August, just before starting the season, Christopher Nkunku saw the start of his adventure with Chelsea delayed. Returning on December 24 against Wolverhampton, the French international even scored his first goal before going on to play three other matches, including a start against Crystal Palace.

A hip injury

A rise in power hampered by a hip injury this week in training. The former Parisian was in fact not part of the group which easily defeated Preston (4-0) in the FA Cup this Saturday. After the match, his coach Mauricio Pochettino, however, was mysterious about his state of health and the duration of his absence. “We have to see if he can be present for the next matches”simply hoped the Argentinian technician.
