Bayern Munich will aim to secure the signing of Ronald Araujo (Barcelona) in 2024, which is seen as their transfer priority.
Araujo has long been coveted by Bayern Munich and, according to AS, the Bavarian giants are ready to pay 80 million euros to sign him this year. The German champions are ready to do everything to sign the Uruguayan defender and have already taken steps in this direction. Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel considers Araujo a priority and has called the defender to persuade him to join the club. However, it is unlikely that a deal will materialize this month, with the signing of Eric Dier potentially being a stopgap measure.
FC Barcelona have not yet changed their mind on Araujo, who is considered a full member of the team and is not for sale. However, with FC Barcelona’s finances regularly coming under scrutiny, the club could be forced to make a decision.
With Dier’s surprise move to Bayern close to being finalized, the Englishman will be reunited with Harry Kane, Bayern’s recent transfer record and the team’s key man.
