Paris Saint-Germain launched its year 2024 perfectly with its success in the Trophée des Champions this Wednesday evening at the Parc des Princes against Toulouse FC (2-0). However, one element could spoil the party and the Parisian week.

During the second act against Toulouse, Milan Skriniar had to give way to Lucas Beraldo after feeling pain around his ankle following contact.

According to the journalist’s information RMC Sport Fabrice Hawkins, the Slovak defender could be absent for several months until the end of the season. The possibility of an operation is even mentioned for the former Inter Milan player.

A real blow for the Parisian club which already has many absentees in this sector of play with Presnel Kimpembe, Nuno Mendes.

Towards a central Marquinhos – Beraldo hinge for the next matches?

Luis Enrique will still have to deal with a new absentee in his squad. The absence of the Slovak colossus should allow new arrival Lucas Beraldo to make his mark in central defense alongside Marquinhos.

The young Brazilian should have a lot of playing time and could even start in the important matches which arrive in 2024. Concerning Milan Skriniar, the capital club should provide more details on his injury in the coming hours.
