A team fighting to remain in the elite announced a major transfer this Thursday.
It is an operation which could have a considerable impact in the fight for maintenance: FC Metz has recorded a significant reinforcement in the person of Georges Mikautadze. A great architect of the rise, the Georgian striker was sold to Ajax Amsterdam last summer, to everyone’s surprise.
Ajax formalized the striker’s return to Metz this Thursday. Mikautadze signed with the Lorraine club in the form of a loan with an option to buy for the next six months.

“I’m really happy to come back here, enthused the Georgian in comments transcribed on the official website of the Garnets. When I left for Ajax, I received many messages and I have received many more in recent days. I wanted to thank everyone, because all this love means a lot to me. I’m really happy to wear the Metz colors again and I can’t wait to hit the pitch again with this jersey, in front of our supporters. »
