OM, a €20 million transfer in sight?

OM would have opened the door to a departure this winter for one of its attackers. Its price was set at 20 million euros.

This is the most expensive transfer in OM history. Recruited for 32 million euros last winter, Vitinha did not meet the high expectations placed on him. Last year, the Portuguese striker only scored 6 small goals (1 assist) in 39 appearances in all competitions. A disappointing result which did not convince its leaders.

So much so that Pablo Longoria would have opened the door to a departure for his 23-year-old striker during this winter transfer window. The Olympian president even set his price at 20 million euros, according to La Provence. But, to date, no club has shown interest in the former Braga man.

Vitinha not ready to leave

For his part, Vitinha would like to continue his adventure near Marseille. He would intend to take advantage of the departures of some of his teammates for the African Cup of Nations to grab playing time and put himself in the spotlight.
