The management of Real Madrid knows which goalkeeper it will rely on to ensure its medium and long-term future.

Real Madrid are interested in young Uruguayan goalkeeper Randall Rodríguez. The latter would even be designated as the great successor of Thibaut Courtois.

Real prepares for its future

According to the daily AS, the Penarol goalkeeper could be recruited as early as January. The future of Andriy Lunin and Kepa Arrizabalaga, on loan from Chelsea, being uncertain, Rodriguez is therefore highly hoped for this mid-season.

Although contacts between the two clubs have not yet taken place, the formula chosen by management would consist of signing the 20-year-old goalkeeper for Castilla, modeled on another Penarol hopeful, Fede Valverde. .

It is worth noting that relations between Peñarol and Real continue to be excellent after the signing of Valverde.

For the moment, however, we do not know whether Randall will be recruited in the traditional way or as part of a loan with an option to buy.
