The Moroccan right-back should be lined up on Wednesday evening with PSG for the Champions Trophy while the gathering of the Moroccan selection for the CAN begins this Tuesday.
This Tuesday, Achraf Hakimi was present for Paris Saint-Germain training, on the eve of the Champions Trophy against Toulouse, which will take place at the Parc des Princes. However, it is today that the assembly of the Moroccan selection begins for the African Cup of Nations.
Present at a press conference, Luis Enrique confirmed that the right-back had obtained a special agreement which could allow him to play the match against TFC. “Hakimi and Kang-in Lee are summoned with their selections but they are available and can be lined up tomorrow,” the Spanish technician told journalists. The former Inter Milan player should therefore play the first match of 2024 with the capital club, which is not organized on the occasion of a Fifa date.
