When Dušan Vlahović left the field in the 76th minute of the match between Juventus and AS Roma, some Giallorossi supporters started a chant calling the Serbian center forward of Juventus a “zinagro”, which the we could translate it as “gypsy”. Racist insults which had been very well heard at the Allianz Stadium… except by the refereeing body. It was not the next time since his arrival in Italy that the former Fiorentina player was violently addressed.

Despite the evidence of the images which subsequently circulated on the Internet, the Italian sports judge described the comments addressed to the Serb as “rude” but not racist. This is how justice ruled and decided to impose a very small fine on the AS Roma club. Indeed, the Giallorossi will have to go to the cash register to pay a fine of 12,000 euros, a fine which also includes the throwing of a child seat at a Juventus spectator.
