Even if the formalization is still awaited, unlike his compatriot Lucas Beraldo, the Brazilian midfielder, Gabriel Moscardo will be a Paris Saint-Germain player without a shadow of a doubt. However, an element of mystery still resides in the signing of the Corinthians protégé since the 18-year-old player will officially have to play billiards for a physical problem in his left foot which will keep him away from the pitch for at least three months. Despite this setback, Parisian management refuses to cancel its initial plans, even though Luis Campos has been monitoring it for a very long time and therefore remains convinced of the potential of this bet for the future:

“Moscardo was also followed by several other big clubs. Even though his arrival was a bit delayed, it was more important to have him as part of the family rather than a rival. It’s long term, a few months are worth the wait in the long term”justified an internal source at the club to our colleagues at Parisian. However, discussions could well be reopened to settle the last details of the contract that Gabriel Moscardo has not yet signed with PSG.

Supervised for a long time by Luis Campos, the midfielder, considered one of the revelations of the year in Brazil, is a bet on the future for PSG who intend to give him time to return and do not wish to upset its initial plans despite this small setback. “Moscardo was also followed by several other big clubs. Even if his arrival was a little delayed, it was more important to have him in the family rather than with a rival, we explain internally. It’s long term, a few months is worth the wait in the long run. »

If this transfer is indeed maintained, there still remains one point to be clarified: the start date of Moscardo’s lease. Because if the Corinthians player is going to join PSG for 20 million euros, he has still not signed his contract with the capital club. The injury detected during medical examinations postponed his signing initially planned for Friday. Some discussions should be held to discuss the final details of this contract, but nothing that will block his arrival in Paris.
