PSG will be deprived of one of its winter reinforcements for a long period.
The year 2024 is off to a bad start for PSG. The Ile-de-France club recorded the defection of one of its winter defectors. One of the newcomers was injured. Serious enough even to stay away from the field for three months.

The recruit in question is Gabriel Moscardo. The player supposed to make Marco Verratti forget in midfield is hit in the left foot. He will undergo an operation and then observe forced rest until April.
It was the person himself who shared this bad news on his Instagram account. “I would like to announce to everyone my decision: in the coming days, I will undergo a small operation on my left foot, he wrote. After recent examinations, it seems necessary to carry out this preventive operation which will keep me away from the field for the next three months. This will allow me to come back stronger and pursue my dream and my career.”
Moscardo is not yet officially Parisian. He will only initial his contract once the transfer window opens. His injury could have called his transfer into question. That won’t be the case. PSG is counting on the now ex-Corinthians player and not just for this season.
Note that Lucas Beraldo, the other Parisian recruit this mid-season, is in full possession of his means. He is even ready to take his place in the Champions Trophy match against Toulouse.
