AS Monaco is preparing to obtain the reinforcement of a former Paris SG defender.
A former Paris SG player should soon settle on the Rock. This is the German international Thilo Kehrer. A year and a half after leaving France, the latter will join AS Monaco on loan until the end of the season.
An interesting reinforcement for Hutter’s Monaco
Kehrer (27) would arrive from West Ham. His experience should be of benefit to the team led by Adi Hutter. It should also bring a little solidity to the Monegasques, who were a little too feverish at the back during the final matches of the first leg. As for the person concerned, he hopes to take advantage of this experience in princely land to find his place within his country’s selection. His goal is to be able to play the Euro at home.
Kehrer stayed in Paris for four years, winning three French championship titles in the process. Even if he was never a real starter, he still played 128 games with the capital team.
The player trained at Schalke 04 should not be the only ASM defector this mid-season. The current 3e of the championship also has his sights set on Brest defender Lilian Brassier. The deal should be ratified soon against compensation of 12 million euros.
