Mauricio Pochettino has said it would be “crazy” if he was left out of Chelsea’s decision on new signings in the January transfer window.
The Blues plan to strengthen their squad during the winter transfer window in order to improve their disappointing first part of the season. Pochettino insists he will have influence over the transfer decision-making process, telling reporters: “Obviously the head coach, the coach or the manager… it’s crazy to think he won’t be involved in decisions going forward. Pochettino was appointed Chelsea manager over the summer, and much of the squad’s comings and goings had already been decided by the time he was in charge.
