It was expected and it is now official: the French goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris (37), is leaving Tottenham after 11 years and 447 in all competitions in the Spurs jersey. He joins the United States and the MLS where he will proudly wear the colors of Los Angeles FC. Questioned by the networks of his now former club, the native of Nice wanted to thank all the supporters and the club for this beautiful and long adventure in a video published by the official Spurs accounts. During his time in London, Lloris became one of 17 goalkeepers to have kept over 100 clean sheets in the Premier League.

“This is a personal message to all Tottenham supporters. I just wanted to thank you for your support since day one. It was a great privilege to have been one of you but also one of your captains for years. I think this is the end of a chapter but you will always be in my heart until the end of my life. Tottenham will always be a special place for me and my family. On their behalf, I also wanted to thank you for all the memories we shared together, all the emotions we felt. I would like to wish you the best for the next decade because you deserve the best”explained the former captain of the Blues at length in this video.
