Paris Saint-Germain player between 2018 and 2022, Thilo Kehrer now plays for West Ham. Lacking playing time, he could return to Ligue 1 this winter.

Revealed on the side of Schalke 04, Thilo Kehrer caught the eye of Paris Saint-Germain where he arrived a few weeks before his twenty-two birthday. Between his arrival in August 2018 and his departure four years later, the German defender played very little, making a total of 128 appearances. Transferred to West Ham in 2022 for twelve million euros, Kehrer could return to Ligue 1 a year and a half later.

Failing on the Premier League side, the international would be in the sights of AS Monaco, but not only that. According to Foot Mercato, it would also interest Stade Rennais or OGC Nice. Under contract with the Hammers until 2026, Thilo Kehrer has only participated in twelve matches for his team since the start of the season, he who is not a starter and who falls behind Kurt Zouma, Nayef Aguerd and Angelo Ogbonna in the hierarchy of defenders.

Ligue 1 or Serie A?

If he were to leave the London club, the former PSG player could be loaned for six months. The latter is also followed by other European clubs, notably in the Italian Serie A where AC Milan and AS Roma have an eye on the matter, according to the transalpine media. West Ham would not be against Kehrer leaving on loan. The latter will therefore have the last word.
