FC Barcelona targeted two midfielders. One could arrive this winter, while the second would arrive next summer.
Things are moving at FC Barcelona. After the arrival of young Brazilian striker Vitor Roque, the Catalan club would now like to strengthen in midfield.
According to Jijantes, the priority at the moment is Aleix Garcia, one of the architects of Girona’s very good season. The 26-year-old has a release clause of 20 million euros, but Barça would like to lower the bill by including one or two players in the transaction. It could be Oriol Romeu, even Pablo Torre or Eric Garcia. These two players are on loan this season from Barça to Girona.
In the longer term, the Blaugranas would target Douglas Luiz, the Brazilian midfielder from Aston Villa. The former Man City player would be the priority of Deco, the sporting director of Barça, but he will not leave England for less than 60 million euros.
