Barça has a shot to play on the file of a young Brazilian crack, whom it could steal from the nose and beard of Paris Saint-Germain.
The choice is made for Estevão Willian (16 years old). Nicknamed Messinho due to his alleged resemblance to Lionel Messi, the Palmeiras right winger is being courted by several major European clubs, including FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Manchester City.
However, according to the daily Mundo Deportivo, the young Brazilian nugget wants to join Barça. His agent André Cury, also representative of the new Culés recruit Victor Roquehas already proposed an interview with Barça president Joan Laporta next week.
The reigning Spanish champion would therefore be in pole position to recruit the native of São Paulo, who will not arrive on the Old Continent until July 2025, when he comes of age. The question that now arises is how much Barcelona will be willing to put on the table to attract the young will-o’-the-wisp.
