Nice: Moffi not selected for CAN

This is bad news for Terem Moffi but certainly good news for OGC Nice.

This Friday evening saw Nigeria’s official selection for the African Cup of Nations which begins on January 13.

The Aiglons striker does not appear there, barred by formidable competition in the offensive sector. On the other hand, the will-o’-the-wisp from FC Nantes Moses Simon is there.

The Nigerian selection for CAN 2024:
Goalkeepers: Stanley Nwabili, Francis Uzoho, Leke Ojo.
Defenders: Ola Aina, Chidozie Awaziem, Bright Osayi-Samuel, William Troost-Ekong, Bruno Onyemaechi, Kenneth Omeruo, Ajayi, Bassey, Zaidu Sanusi.
Midfield: Wilfred Ndidi, Raphael Onyedika, Joe Aribo, Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi.
Forwards: Ahmed Musa, Victor Osimhen, Kelechi Iheanacho, Sadiq Umar, Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Boniface.
