Even before he plays his first match in Parisian colors, Gabriel Moscardo is already mentioned alongside a club icon.

Along with his compatriot Lucas Belardo, Gabriel Moscardo will strengthen the ranks of Paris SG during the winter transfer window. This midfielder, barely 18 years old, has a great future. Some even see him following in the footsteps of Marco Verratti by becoming an emblem of the Ile-de-France club.

“Moscardo will help PSG a lot”

Verratti also arrived very young in Paris in 2012. He immediately established himself in this team and subsequently became a real executive. Moscardo could meet the same fate. In any case, this is what Grafite, former Brazilian player at Le Mans, predicts. “Of course he will have to adapt. But his pep, his dynamism, his ability to move forward can very well help PSG. He reminds me of Verratti at the start of his career,” he said in an interview with L’Equipe.

The future ex-Corinthians player is full of promise. However, his bet is not won in advance. Alex Dias, another former Brazilian Ligue 1 star who played for PSG, thinks he will need time to integrate before being able to fully express his potential. “It might be difficult for him. Because the intensity is not the same in Ligue 1 and it’s tougher too.”

The one who made the heyday of ASSE also remains confident for Moscardo and for his future partner Beraldo. “They are two very good recruits. I think they will win in Paris. They are young, ambitious and talented,” he concluded.
