This PSG flop that everyone is raving about

Since joining Paris Saint-Germain from Valencia in the summer of 2022, Carlos Soler has seen his career stagnate.

He has struggled for playing time throughout his 18 months in the French capital, particularly this season, as he has only started five times in Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

Foot Mercato claims that PSG sporting director Luis Campos, who recently left a similar role at Celta Vigo, could give the green light for Soler’s exit from the club in January, and if that proves to be the case, a return to La Liga could be considered.

Sevilla FC, Real Betis and Villarreal are interested in Soler, who could be loaned until the end of the season. It would be a good opportunity for these three clubs to recruit a player for free who would be very useful to them for the next four or five months. Whether Soler will be allowed to leave PSG in January remains to be seen, but for the sake of his career it would be good to do so now.
