Real Madrid will not follow through on requests to have Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland printed on shirts from the club’s official store, according to a report.

Fans purchasing Real Madrid jerseys can have Madrid players’ names and numbers printed on the back and can make personalized requests, but SER Deportivos reports that anyone requesting “Mbappé” or “Haaland” to be printed on the jerseys will be rejected. The radio station verified the claim with two supporters who asked for the names of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City stars to appear on a jersey. Staff responded that they could not accommodate the request because the two players are not playing Real players and image rights issues prevent them from adding names of players from other clubs.

Madrid fans are eager to have Mbappe and Haaland on their jerseys as the Spanish giants have dreamed of signing one of the two superstar strikers in recent transfer windows. Haaland shining at City, the world, European and English champions are not about to sell him, but Mbappé could leave PSG for free at the end of the season.

It was reported this month that Madrid are ready to make a final offer to sign the France international next January, but they will only have until the 15th of the month to accept the deal. Otherwise, the Santiago Bernabéu will pursue the Norwegian hero.
