Recruited at a high price by Aston Villa this summer, for the sum of 55 million euros, Moussa Diaby continues to take steps in his career. The French international has had a more than decent start to the season under his new colors.

Asked by World Eleven, the 24-year-old attacking midfielder looked back at the stages of his career. His adventure in the Bundesliga at Bayer Leverkusen, his debut at Aston Villa but especially his time at Paris Saint-Germain, his favorite club.

The left-hander did not hesitate to say good things about his training club and does not close the door to a return to the French capital in the future.

“Paris Saint-Germain is my training club. I learned everything there, I spent seven years at the club, I worked with lots of players. Some are professionals today, others not. I played my first professional match at PSG. It was a strong and important moment. I can’t forget that. It’s the club from the capital, the city where I come from. PSG was a good adventure for me. I reluctantly had to take another path. For the development of my career and my progression, I was obliged to leave. By staying at PSG, I would have had less playing time. PSG will remain PSG. »

Before concluding : “Often I am told that the supporters are thinking about my return. It’s nice. That means I haven’t been forgotten. The fans know that I was trained at this club and that I will always be ready to give everything for this jersey. It also means I’m doing good things. If I hadn’t been good, no one would have thought about my return. It’s fun to read and know. Maybe I’ll come back one day. In any case, PSG will remain in my heart for life. »
