Winner of US Blagnac (N3) in the previous round, US Revel inherited a big fish, namely Paris Saint-Germain during the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France. But like the reaction of his locker room when he learned the identity of his future opponent, the resident of Régional 1 intends to play his luck until the end and give the Parisians a hard time. With his weapons, Nicolas Giné intends to compete with the reigning French champion according to his comments made on the airwaves of RMC Sport.

“I don’t want to have a gala match. I know our chances are minimal but we know that there is still one, even if it’s one in a thousand, we have to take it 100%. There are flaws but we are talking about players who are flying over Ligue 1. Will these be flaws for us? We’ll see. We want to show that amateur football can compete with these big teams even if it is very complicated. The initial idea is to appear well and show that we work well at Revel”, expressed the Occitan coach. Please note that the meeting will be held in Castres on January 7, 2024.
