Arsenal were surprised by West Ham this Thursday for the 19th act of the Premier League.

At home, the Gunners lost 0-2, victims of goals from Soucek (13e) and Mavropanos (55e) while Benrahma missed a penalty for the Hammers in added time.

Visibly blunted, Arteta’s men thus lost control of the English elite, two points ahead of Liverpool who two days earlier had dominated Burnley (0-2).

West Ham, for their part, has a third consecutive success and regains its sixth place, just three lengths behind Europe.
