This winter, Newcastle wants to recruit a midfielder as a priority, if possible versatile. According to the Telegraph, the Magpies are not letting go of Kalvin Phillips one step. Plucked from Leeds in 2022, the 28-year-old Englishman has not really managed to establish himself under the orders of Pep Guardiola. This season, he appeared 9 times, including 2 times as a starter (1 goal).

His case is therefore closely followed by several teams including Juventus, Everton and Crystal Palace. But Newcastle are hopeful of signing him on loan. But if the Mancunians do not close the door to a departure, they favor a sale. The Toons have been warned.
