Renato Sanches and AS Roma, it’s almost over. According to Foot Mercato, the Italian club intends to break the loan of the Portuguese midfielder, who would be considered too uncertain and physically fragile. Often injured, the former Lille player has only played nine matches this season, in Serie A and Europa League, including only three as a starter.
For Renato Sanches to leave Roma, Paris Saint-Germain’s agreement would be required to break the loan. But Foot Mercato specifies that PSG would be inclined to accept this request, provided that the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, finds him a new base on loan. It will not be easy, because the club in question will have to agree to cover the player’s salary, estimated at 3.5 million euros net plus bonuses.
