Dominant, Jürgen Klopp’s team was denied a goal from Cody Gakpo (29th) before Mohamed Salah found the crossbar (34th). In the second half, Harvey Elliott was also denied a goal (55th). A domination not materialized by Liverpool who remained under threat from their opponent until Diogo Jota’s goal in the final moments (2-0, 90th). With this 2-0 victory, Liverpool take the lead with two points ahead of Arsenal and three points ahead of Aston Villa.
