After several months of absence, French striker Christopher Nkunku recently returned to competition. He was present during Chelsea’s last match against Wolverhampton in the Premier League (1-2).
Soft start for Nkunku
During this part, the former Leipzig player played in a central position. And he will continue to do so. In order to spare him and facilitate his adaptation, Mauricio Pochettino, the Blues coach, seeks to make him avoid too much effort from the outset.
The Argentine coach explained this Tuesday at a press conference. “ Because he is coming back from injury, I think he is better as a 10 or 9, more than as a left winger on the right.
